Review The Ceramic Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean “Deep Black” Replica Watch
Omega demands respect with every new collection they release, and the new Planet Ocean GMT Deep Black replica models are no exception. Featuring their hot, new Master Chronometer movement and a purely ceramic case, this collection will be appreciated by even the snobbiest of watch snobs. If you’re going for the “cool” factor, then the jet black case, strap and buckle will satisfy. Order now to be the first in line to get one of these bad boys!
The mens fake Planet Ocean GMT “Deep Black” collection is the first set of dive watches to be cased entirely in ceramic and capable of surviving depths of up to 600m. Available with red, blue and Sedna gold accents, as well as a full “Deep Black” version, the watch that I’ve been wearing for a couple of weeks.
Being a deskdiver, I still wanted to give the Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean Deep Black replica watch a try. I chose the all-black version of the watch to try, even though I also like the red, blue and Sedna models. The Sedna gold version is something I fancy as well, but gives it less of a ‘tool watch’ appearance. However, I like the touch of gold. My personal preference would be the all-black Deep Black, as I am afraid I might get fed up with the red and blue accents at some point.
Omega’s marketing materials play on the gravitational link between the moon and the oceans to illustrate the brand’s progress from Dark Side of the Moon to Deep Black, and while that might be just a bit too poetic for us, the analogy does make a degree of sense. This collection is to the standard Planet Ocean models as the DSOTM was to the Speedmaster; a change in character combined with a mechanical upgrade that looks to bring the range bang up to date.
Both in appearance and name, the thinking behind the Omega Planet Ocean Deep Black copy watches will be immediately familiar;
